Walkout, Luxury Custom Home in Montgomery
This luxury custom home was built in the beautiful inner city community of Montgomery in Calgary. Like many other inner city homes in the area, the existing home was run down and aged. After removing the older existing home, this family’s custom dream home was built.
The Home Owners envisioned a very spacious design that would satisfy a transitional style yet possess some breathtaking finishes to complement the look and feel of their new home. Function was also of critical importance to the family and ensuring certain rooms met specific needs was paramount.
The outcome was a beautiful luxury custom home that we were proud to be part of. This home was a part of the BILD Calgary Reno-Tour program in October of 2018 where the public was invited to tour through the home to experience its beauty and fine craftsmanship.
One of the main features of this home was the large kitchen with bright, off-white shaker style cabinets and an oversized quartz island. This provided ample space for meal preparation and entertaining family and friends. Additional nuances of the home were the built-in pantry, mudroom locker storage cabinetry, panelled walls and archways and bathrooms designed with 10mm shower glass and designer tile.
Also incorporated into the design build was a fantastic outdoor living space on the rear patio which was created to include a bbq kitchen / meal preparation area and a fireplace which makes for great entertaining even in the cooler months.
